VASSA partners with various silent sport focused organizations to either co-host an event or act as a supporter at theirs. This can include being involved from the planning stage as with the Snowshoe Celebration, providing refreshments at various marathons and races or being on hand with information about silent sports in the Northwoods.

This annual event is held on January 31, 2015, complete with a candlelight snowshoe, food and refreshments, snowshoe demos, guided tours and campfires. Best of all it's FREE! Event will be held SNOW OR SHINE!

 

Tara Lila is a private company that supports silent sport trail creation in Vilas and Oneida Counties. Tara Lila currently hosts miles of wilderness trails adjacent to the Three Eagle Trail open for public use. For maps and additional information visit taralila.org.
