Get on your bike in Vilas County and you can travel for hundreds of miles in all directions through some of the most beautiful country you can imagine. Woodland trails and rustic roads wind through forests and by clear water lakes, rivers and streams and are perfect for road, touring and mountain bikers alike.
VASSA was commissioned to help develop a plan to create a system of interconnected bicycle and pedestrian trails throughout Vilas County. Many organizations put in a lot of time to develop the plan, which was unanimously approved in September 2011 (click here to check out the plan).
A newly constructed boardwalk completed the Eagle River Segment of the Three Eagle Trail.
